This page will spotlight my leadership and advocacy activities. There will be opportunities for you
to learn more and maybe get involved yourself. Lead On!

| This is one of the new logo possibilities I've designed for the group. |
I just took on the role of chair for Nova Southeastern University's
SOAP (Student Organization for the Advocacy of Psychology). This year I was the first year representative and got the
chance to advocate both for and beyond disability issues. It's a great organization for professional development and
I'm looking forward to our activities this summer and next year.

I'm also involved as a Governing Board member, co-chair of the Public Information Committee,
and member of the Mentorship Committee for the National Youth Leadership Network. This organization develops leadership
skills and offers advocacy opportunities for youth with disabilities ages 17-28. My largest contribution to
the Network right now is my role as the editor for our seasonal newsletter. It's sent out to several federal sponsors
(and all the youth involved in NYLN). Here are a few back issues: Fall 2005 & Summer 2005. The newest issue is Winter 2006 and spring should be out in a couple of weeks..

| I'm also the co-chair of this program, so if you have O.I. contact me! |
I'm also co-chairing BEneFIT! through the O.I. Foundation, which is an awesome new fitness
incentive program that is also a fundraiser for the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation. Participants don't have to have
O.I., so if you are interested-let me konw! It's easy and free to set up a page with your fitness goal then you e-mail your
webpage to friends and family. If people would like to support your goal, their pledge benefits OIF. I love this
option for people with OI and their friends and family to work together to get in better shape.
